Hello! I recently joined this sub and have loved reading everyone’s posts. I was floored when I first found this little piece of the internet a few weeks ago, and have jumped into the world of reps.
Told the fiancé I bought one rep. I bought four.
With that being said, here’s to my very first review!
This was my very first rep order; Before delving into this forum, I had auth bags and had no idea this world existed lol. However, I’ve never had an auth chanel boy so please take my review with a grain of salt.
QUALITY: 9.75/10
There was absolutely no factory smell. As soon as I opened the box, all I could smell was leather! Smelt amazing and the bag looks amazing as well. The leather is albeit a little dry, but I did hear that’s a common thing with God Factory bag (-0.25). Nothing that a little conditioner won’t fix, if I really wanted to? I didn’t note any marks or scratches on the leather, looks absolutely pristine to me. The leather was smooth and the puffs are evenly puffed (lol) in each diamond. Stitching looks great and firmly threaded, and there are no threads – as expected from God Factory.
The hardware feels very well made and feels identical to the auth (went into the store last weekend to try and feel out the difference haha). Clicks on/off smoothly, and no problems opening/locking the bag. I specifically got the RHW because of its aged look and less room for error (compared to a rep GHW, which can be too deep/too light compared to its auth versions).

NOTE: The bag came with an authenticity card and dust bag; didn’t include the box. Dust bag is definitely not similar to the auth, but I won’t deduct any points for that because… it’s a dustbag.
The hardware is great; like the auth boy, it uses a hexagon screw/Allen shaped screw. It’s not a big deal because it’s in the inside of the bag, but it’s good to know it’s perfect in that aspect lol. Lines are clean. As mentioned above, I specifically got the RHW because it’s great for someone who’s super anxious about being their rep being calloutable. Unlike GHW, there’s definitely room for error because of its aged look and uneven colouring. I did have a tinyy issue about the side “Chanel” engravings on the side of the bag. The font is perfect; however, I stared at the it until my eyes got cross-eyed. “C H A” looks a bit spaced out, compared to the “NEL”. Maybe I’m seeing things? I deducted -0.5 though.
The puffs are not overly puffy and is pretty uniform throughout the bag, both front and back. The leather strap holes are (like in caviar auths), explicitly there. There are 4 and 5 whole diamonds horizontally stitched across the bag, which aligns with the auth version. There are 7 stitches per side of the diamond (the auth I linked has 8, I have heard auths can vary slightly in stitch count, from 7/8 in this size?). I can’t say too much about the snakehead strap, but it does look alright to me and nothing I would frown about!
Like the auth, the interior is fabric lined and is the same colour of the bag. And like the auth, the small does not come with a zip pocket!
SATISFACTION: 10/10
I LOVE THIS BAG. I’ve always wanted a Boy bag, but the price point was just way too high for me to justify forking over so much coin. Overall, very very pleased with it and my first experience with buying a rep! Compared to buying this bag for 6500 CAD, this was such a good value for money and I’m extremely happy I ventured into this reddit forum! The bag is well made and I can’t stop sniffing it lol. I have absolutely no complaints about this bag (apart from the tinyy “CHANEL” side engravings), and will absolutely buy more bags from God Factory.
I gave this section a 10 because I’m 10/10 happy with this specific bag – However, I had originally paid in intentions of getting a 25cm. The 20cm size was a little too small for me (I have way too many bags this size as well… sigh). It’s not the bag’s fault though, so a 10 it is!
